Great Travel Moment The Embera are one of the indigenous peoples of Panama, so the prospect of spending a day with them was an opportunity to not be passed up. While everyone was friendly, the conversation lively, and the knowledge I gained of their culture eye-opening, this young lady stole the day out from under the village elders and all others. Everywhere you turned there she was climbing a tree, a hut, leading other children in games, or just standing around being adorable. Parents... put your wallet photos and digicams away! Your children lost the cuteness battle a while ago. |
