Great Travel Moment

I'm sure everyone who has been to Italy has a picture of the Coliseum and this is ours. What stands out to me about this picture is the framing and the feeling of looking up at the Coliseum. You can get a good feel for the size of it and it reminds me of the feeling I had standing inside. It was as if I could still hear the echoes of the thousands of people screaming and cheering all those years ago. It was a feeling of scope and scale. It was a realization that even though we are here now, tomorrow someone else may be standing and looking at what we created through the same eyes in which we look at the past now.
