Great Travel Moment

The first time I saw the Taj Mahal I was 15. I was astounded that anything could be so overwhelming and so incredibly beautiful. I was amazed by the beautiful gardens and the symmetry of surrounding buildings. I saw it again when I was 32, and again, I experienced a feeling of wonder and peace. This spring, we took our kids, ages 13 and 15, to India for the first time. It was heartwarming to watch them experience the Taj for the first time, bringing back my memories from so many years ago when I was traveling with my family. Both were struck by the size of the Taj and the amazing setting. It was fascinating to watch them experience this magical place, which words truly cannot describe. I could stare at it for hours; the symmetry, the serenity, the dedication.
