Great Travel Moment We took this photograph while on honeymoon in Angkor Wat with my husband. I love the perspective in this picture about a solitary monk wanting to know more about the history of his country and it's monuments. This picture also reminds me of differences in perception and that what is usual to me may be unusual to you and viceversa. For us, it was unusual to see a monk outside the temple or day to day life setting. About an hour later, a Cambodian family asked to take a picture with us. We were for them unusual and different and they wanted to show us off to their families and friends. It makes me smile to look back and remember. |
