Great Travel Moment

We had been traveling all day, since the early hours of the morning, on three modes of transportation - plane, motorized boat and paddle canoe - to get to the rainforest lodge in Ecuador. The day was overcast. On the last leg of the journey, our canoe glided silently upriver as thunder rumbled in the distance. As we entered the Anangu lake the sun broke through the clouds and I slowly half-stood on the canoe, to capture the view of the peaceful lake and the lodge in the middle of the forest, which would be our home for the next five days.
