Great Travel Moment On the last day of my honeymoon the cruise ship docked in Naples, Italy. Before headed to the Ruins of Herculaneum we headed to a Cameo shop. This is a man creating a cameo by hand. We were so impressed with the detail of this cameo and the fact that it takes a cameo maker seven years to perfect his craft. It is a dying art because the conch shells they make them out of are dwindling and young people do not want to learn how to make cameos. They sure are beautiful! |
