Great Travel Moment

The architecture in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, harkens back to the island?s colonial history. Spanish colonial architecture is prevalent through the area. Tall shuttered windows open up on to balconies that overlook the streets below. Vibrant colors- blues, reds and greens- shimmer brightly in equatorial sunlight as temperatures rise in Summer months. Inevitably the rain will come and cool down the concrete and those fortunate enough to be caught in the downpour.
