Great Travel Moment

On a 3-month ?champagne backpacking? trip through Asia, my husband and I spent several days hiking with the Hmong tribes of Sa-Pa, Vietnam. These warmly welcoming, colorful, and vibrant people are family-focused starting young. Several generations share the chores and help together to make a living off their silversmith, and weaving crafts, most of which utilise the searing indigo dye that is pressed out of the wild plants that dot their landscape.
