Great Travel Moment On a 3-month ?champagne backpacking? trip through Asia, my husband and I spent several days hiking with the Hmong tribes of Sa-Pa, Vietnam. These warmly welcoming, colorful, and vibrant people are family-focused starting young. Several generations share the chores and help together to make a living off their silversmith, and weaving crafts, most of which utilise the searing indigo dye that is pressed out of the wild plants that dot their landscape. This small spot on the map left a mark on us. |
