Great Travel Moment 10 years ago I was nearly killed in a car accident. The list of things doctors told me I'd never do again was staggering. I vowed to life my life to the fullest by traveling & doing new activities. In Feb. I traveled to Mexico to attend a whitewater kayak clinic. On my last day, Friday the 13th, I faced running a 20 ft. waterfall from an area called the Guillotine. Looking down from the top I saw my paddle quiver in my hand! My heart beat like mad! After enduring a year of rehab this was the craziest thing to do from a physical & mental standpoint. At the lip off the drop-off I thought "well I've been through worse!" I plummeted down & saw a wall of water rushing at me! I sat upright as I hit bottom & stayed upright! This was by far the ride of my life, the adrenaline lingered for hours! It taught me a valuable lesson. No matter what your circumstance in life the only limitations that can hold you back are the ones you place on yourself! |
