Great Travel Moment

My husband and I traveled to the Maldives for our honeymoon in 2008. And it did not disappoint. The resort we stayed at is so small that every night at sunset it was a lovely ritual to stroll all the way around the atoll to supper. Another benefit of the resort being small was that we got to know many of the resort personnel by name and learn about their culture. As we were walking from the bar to our villa after sunset, I noticed a group of young men (including our bartender) running toward the recreation center. As they ran, they slipped into what looked to be soccer uniforms. With the last of the light remaining in the sky, the two teams played the briefest and liveliest game of soccer I'd ever seen. As the darkness descended, everyone ran back to work except our bartender whose shift was over.
