Great Travel Moment

San Francisco is a strange perplexity of old and new. It is rich in delicacy and harmonious in its unique beauty. There are rows of little shops that offer a large diversity of inviting articles yet turn the corner and one comes unexpectedly upon the site of Alcatraz. It stands out of the bay as a wretched temple to the deviant but significant in the evolution of the penal system. One looks at it as a shadow of what once was while the jovial sailboats navigate their way around it. In the juxtaposition of the both the city and the prison we, as on lookers, see as advertised the over glorified trivial structure waiting to be taken into ruins by nature.
