Great Travel Moment Exploring the Kuranda rain forest was one of the highlights of our visit to Queensland. We spent the morning on the sky-rail, and had our breath taken away not just by the views but the height of the Gondola as it climbed over 4.5 miles over the Barron Gorge and the ancient rain forest. In this picture we had our feet back on the ground - well almost. We went back on the Scenic Railway past the Gorge and some spectacular tropical scenery. I hung out the window to snap this picture of our train moving slowly past an impressive waterfall. I can still feel the spray of water in our faces when the train stopped at a majestic waterfall we had soared over in the gondola that morning. What an unforgettable day. |
