Great Travel Moment This is another one of my $15 Holga pinhole camera shots, which astonishes me, because of its sharpness. Normally, light infuses the lens and creates splotches of arty light across the photo. It must be the way the light refracted in the lens so early that last morning we spent in Venice that made it so tack sharp. The sky was lit up like a candle, the gondolas caught the flame and shimmered in the early morning light. I can still hear the slapping of the Grand Canal waves as they lapped against the moored gondolas, each time a boat would pass. Sheer heaven! |
