Great Travel Moment

Albatross form lifelong partnerships. They travel great distances to forage and upon their return to nesting grounds, they dance with every other bird on the island until they find their partner, recognizable by minor subtleties in the way they dance. This courtship ritual is magnificent and complex. Balancing romance on the tips of their toes they arch their necks towards the sky, and spread their wings or click their bills. The ritual is made of a variety of moves orchestrated in a unique way by each albatross pair. This moment reminds me of the exhilaration in immense inspiration. I was taken by the grace of albatross immediately. They create beautiful curves as their bodies align in movement. They fly effortlessly together, surfing invisible wave momentums, skillfully nearing the ocean's surface within millimeters without touching their feathers to the water. This image will always remind me of their beauty.
