Great Travel Moment

Climbing up the prayer hill at Mount Everest North Base Camp left us breathless in more than one way. Not entirely acclimated to the thinner air, the trek up to what looked like a small mound with prayer flags at the top left us feeling as winded as if we had run two miles. We had traveled to North Base Camp at the pleading and insistence of our eight year old son, whose Everest enthusiasm was contagious. The sense of accomplishment is evident in the smiles of our children.
