Great Travel Moment

My boyfriend took me on an all expenses paid trip to Oahu, Hawaii. I knew he was going to propose, so when he suggested we take a romantic stroll on the beach at sunset, I thought "This is IT!" We walked along the water barefoot, up and down the coast, and I waited with anxious bated breath. He didn't propose. Instead, he bought us drinks at an oceanfront restaurant as the sun sank beyond the horizon and it turned to night. Then, we went back to our hotel room and, somewhat disappointed, I went out to the balcony to stare at moonlit ocean waves. My boyfriend then came up behind me, put his arms around me, told me he loved me, and THEN he proposed. I was surprised, ecstatic, and uttered a stunned "YES." I quickly came to appreciate this uneventful, sunset walk on the beach. Without it, I would have never had that beautiful, surprising and unexpected moment for my engagement.
