Great Travel Moment

At St. Marks Basilica Square in Venice Italy, our daughter Kara (age 10) was thrilled to have hundreds of pigeons surround her. They ate bread from her hand and walked up and down her arms. She kept asking me to take pictures of this once in a lifetime experience. She and her sister were entertained for hours as we enjoyed the beauty, music, people and architecture around us. It was a perfect place to people watch, enjoy the aroma of Italian food, and listen to the buzz of the different languages being spoken. I snapped this photo of her as one very ?full? bird landed on her head. Her expression is one of laughter and surprise just as the bird pooped on her head.
