Great Travel Moment

My friend and I were traveling through Italy and decided to spend the day in Venice. We had no plan and no map, but were eager to lose ourselves in the maze of streets and canals throughout the city. As we walked over a foot bridge, I caught my first glimpse of an infamous gondola. Without pausing, I raised my 35 mm camera to my side (without even looking through the view finder) and snapped this shot. I couldn't have planned a better photo. Both our unplanned day in Venice and this picture were delightfully serendipitous.
