Great Travel Moment In the Sacred Valley of Peru we were surrounded with striking views and imagery at every turn. We spent many days exploring the area, visiting the Incan ruins, and enjoying the warm people and culture. We were driving along a dirt road near the village of Willoc when I noticed these children ahead of us, sitting quietly on a rock wall... I threw out my hand in a big wave to them and they lit up. Amid all the woven ponchos and indigenous clothing in the area, the pink fleece jacket made me smile and wonder what life is like for these little children. We felt very welcome in their land by their smiles, friendliness, and hospitality. This was a very special trip for me and my families and the memories continue to take my breath away. |
