Great Travel Moment We rode up Europe's highest mountain lift (3,883 m) to a get breath-taking views of the Matterhorn in the summer of 2008. This photo was taken from the Terrace on the Summit. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon. If you were to ask our son (he was 3 years old at the time) what his favorite memory was, it wouldn't be the incredible cable car ride up the mountain or the beautiful ice sculptures in the Glacier Palace or even the spectacular views from the Observation Deck. Our son's distinct memory was eating a hot dog at the little snack bar at the top of Klein Matterhorn! |
