Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken last summer in Sossusvlei, Namibia. My friend and I had spent the day hiking and exploring all around the dunes which are said to be the tallest in the world. When climbing to the top they feel more like mountains. It is amazing to think that it must have taken millions of years for these mountains of sand to form. The dunes in Namibia have an otherworldly feel to them and to this day they are the most impressive natural sight I have ever seen. It is hard to get a sense for how large they really are until you actually see them in person. The natural beauty and size of these dunes still blow me away and when you see the Oryx at the base of the dune it gives you a sense for how powerful and unique this place really is.
