Great Travel Moment During our trip to Turkey, I saw very few women completely veiled, so the sight of this one in a niqab outside the Summer Palace in Istanbul startled me. I was fascinated with her eyes, but didn't want to stare, so immediately raised my camera, just as she had the same impulse. I wish I had chosen to smile at her instead. |
