Great Travel Moment

Before we were married, my husband and I had the opportunity to visit Egypt while on an archaeological dig in Jordan. We were both history majors in college and were captivated to behold the ancient treasures of Egypt, all looking much the same as they had when Herodotus passed through here some 2500 years ago. Feeling a bit caught up in the sense of romance and adventure that only Egypt can inspire, we asked a friend traveling with us to snap this photo as we were getting ready to leave. It was here at the Pyramids of Giza that I knew I had found my travel partner for life. We have some truly enchanting memories of that trip. From antiquity to the present, Egypt has been and continues to be nothing short of magical.
