Great Travel Moment

While the abundance of summer thunderstorms in New York City this year has been nothing to celebrate, they do sometimes set up back drops for some amazing scenes. The red hue emitting from the sky blanketed the city with an eerie glow, akin to what one might expect on the red planet. Shortly after, the skies opened up for a brilliant storm that may have reached biblical proportions. This red prelude to clear blue skies not much later was a dramatic sight to behold. It is scenes like this that don't happen very often, and when they do you really appreciate them as they truly reflect life itself.
