Great Travel Moment

My wife and I were hitching a ride down the Rio San Juan with a sport fishing boat full of very eager anglers. Much to our chagrin they decided to tie up right next to this boy, nearly pushing him over with their much larger boat. We fished this spot for over an hour and to our delight the only one who caught anything was this boy in his dugout canoe and some fishing line. It really reminded me that you don't need the best boat with all the latest gear or some super high tech fishing pole. All you really need is your hands, a boat that floats, some line, a hook and a little help from the local river gods.
