Great Travel Moment

As a reward to ourselves for 25 years of marriage, we celebrated the occasion by booking a once-in-a-lifetime dream vacation to the Hawaiian islands in late December - early January. We are not seasoned travelers by any means, but nonetheless were not reluctant to leave our northern Montana home in the dead of winter for ten days in "paradise". And paradise it was! This picture was taken on Maui's west coast on the eve of the day we were to return home. A few moments prior to this picture being taken, we had placed a phone call to home, and learned that back in Montana the temperature was minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit with wind and blowing snow as well. Knowing that a blizzard was raging at home only increased our enjoyment of a beautiful evening on a beautiful beach on our last day in paradise.
