Great Travel Moment

The beautiful Italian girl in the photograph was the girlfriend of an artist who created Venetian masks. This photo was taken outside of the artist's studio/shop. The girl waited patiently while I and my friend looked around at the masks in the shop. I noticed her looking in at us; I decided to come out and, unbeknownst to her, took her photograph. The photo is a little story of each of us looking. I like how the girl's arm and hand frame the mask, and how the round red cheeks are the colour of the girl's camisole and scarf. I also like the reflections in the window and the fact that the girl is reflecting, while she casually smokes her cigarette. She is elegant and feminine and embodies my idea of Venice.
