Great Travel Moment

This was my first "mini getaway" of the year. My son and his wife took me to Malibu to see the beautiful sites. Needless to say, the sites were breath taking. When I stood on the shoulder of the Pacific Coast Highway and gazed at the shimmering water, a feeling of peace and tranquility came over me. Just for a few moments, I was able to escape the world's many agitations and enjoy God's creation. Every time I look at this photo, I remember how beautiful the water looked with the sun blazing down on it and how it sparkled like diamonds. The highway was one that I've seen many times in movies so when I see it in a movie now, it reminds me of that day. I also remember how happy I was enjoying the time with my family and knowing it wouldn't be long before I became a grandmother.
