Great Travel Moment My father, Allan, missed out on his high school graduation festivities, having enlisted in the Navy during World War 2. Sixty-two years later, he decided that he wanted the pomp and circumstance he had missed. He contacted Hamilton High in Los Angeles, and asked to join in their graduation celebration. After checking their records to be sure that he had in fact met the graduating requirements, my father was allowed to join the other high school graduates. The students embraced my dad and affectionately called him The Senior Senior. Now, at 82 years old, my father can cross this event off his To Do List. |
