Great Travel Moment To this day, I look at this picture in awe and reminisce about the splendor of that August day. This picture was taken at Rehoboth Bay, an area of State Park that boasts some of the best scenery and clamming around. We love spending the entire day here, it's that beautiful. This particular day, numerous activities were planned. The first was crabbing and clamming. With our kayak, we paddled out the crab pots and drop them...they are picked-up by the end of the day. The next adventure: clamming. With two rakes, we're off...walking out, into the bay. The beautiful sites of sailboats and parasailors are in the yonder. Seagulls are active. The kids play on the beach in tidepools that have formed as the bay suceeds. Our family kayaks around the bay. For others, it is simply taking in the sites, the smells and the sound of the day at the bay. As we ended our day, I snapped this picture of my 3 year old, Noah, and thought, "What a special day!" |
