Great Travel Moment

This was the view from the balcony of a bed and breakfast in Kayalitsha Township in Cape Town, South Africa. More than half of the population of Cape Town live in the townships and yet it was not uncommon for us to meet Cape Tonians in the more posh neighborhoods who had never even been to one. A woman in this township had converted her home into a very tasteful B&B, and her confidence and success actually seemed to support & inspire other local entrepreneurs - a very sweet young newleywed was selling handmade jewelry at a stand outside the B&B and this picture shows another entrepreneur´s pink aluminum beauty salon.
