Great Travel Moment

For me, this photo captures a feeling rather than a specific memorable moment. It reminds me of how I felt waking up in Rome, leisurely sipping a cup of coffee, looking out on the balcony, and hearing the sounds of the street below. I snapped a picture of my husband doing what I had likely been doing only minutes earlier - listening to the sounds of a city waking up - doors opening and closing, a cart being pushed down the street, its wheels loud on the cobblestone, a man on his way to work, already making calls on his cell phone. It was a wonderful way to begin each day before heading out ourselves to join the bustle on the streets.
