Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken on one of the islands off of Key West, far from the hustle of Duval Street. When I look at it, I can still hear the swish of the incoming tide and taste the salt from the ocean. It was not a breaking-the-bank vacation holiday or shot with an expensive camera that has countless interchangeable lenses. It was snapped during an annual trip to visit my family and taken with a simple digital point and shoot. Special travel memories don't have to break the budget; they can happen anywhere, whether it's a world-class resort or a cross-American road trip. One just has to open his or her eyes.
