Great Travel Moment

I enjoy this photo because the sun rays were captured just barely peaking through and this reminded me that despite all the travel woes, we had made it. After a brutal day of travel from the U.S. to Sicily, and without luggage arrival, I was just happy to have on comfortable walking shoes and my camera! This photo was taken up just behind the Grand Hotel Timeo, and just atop an ancient Greek Theater. The temperature was in the mid 60's with a light breeze. The clouds that day were like cauliflower and the sky was an amazing, almost faux blue. I remember feeling down that day worried about the stupid luggage, but after climbing up the stairs of the theater and seeing the view, I had a sense of calm come over me. It was beautiful! The luggage did arrive, back home one week after we did, and it never made it to Sicily.
