Great Travel Moment

This is a local part where I go for walks, watch the ducks and geese that nest there. Some times I take my lunch there or sit and chat with a friend. It gets me out of my house for a breath of fresh air and to clear my head. This photograph I took at the edge of the pond across from a small rock. To me it captures the feeling of the park, which is in a busy town with a lot of traffic and the hustle and bustle of life around it. The pond and park offers an oasis of solitude, where you can rest and reflect at a slower pace.
