Great Travel Moment We had a great trip. We stayed a week in Paris then took a train to Bruges, Belgium, for several more days. Our trip was to end with a flight out of Brussels but we were stuck on the tarmac for two hours waiting for a "weather cell" in the upper atmosphere to pass. Finally the pilot got the OK to take off and we were up in the air. I looked out the airplane window and saw a massive cloud formation. Was this the cause of our delay? I didn't know... but it was beautiful. I hurried to dig my camera out of my carry on and rushed to grab this shot before we passed by. Airplane experiences are often long, tiresome and forgotten in the chronicling of a journey. But these clouds that appeared to be floating on a sea are just as much a part of my trip as was the Eiffel Tower. |
