Great Travel Moment We took our first trip to Alaska in May, 2009 and were awestruck by the beauty but also the "size" and majesty of the scenery. This photo illustrates the size of one relatively small (by Alaskan standards) waterfall. This picture was taken on a trip to the Mendenhalll Glacier. The people walking along the land below the waterfall give a sense of perspective which I thought spoke for itself. |
