Great Travel Moment

This summer my girlfriend and I went on a romantic holiday to Baveno situated on the beautifull Lake Maggiore in Italy. We travelled by car and the journey was a disaster. Because of the many road-works in Germany we faced a lot of traffic-jams and when we got to Zwitserland we had to wait more then six hours at the Gottard tunnel. When we finally passed the tunnel it turned out that the road towards the Lake was closed because of the extreme rain of the previous night. ( the road was complety destroyed by the streaming water coming from the mountains) When we finally arrived we were extremely tired and a bit cranky. The next day was a bit cloudy and we decided to make a boattrip to the Pescatorie Island which is where I took this picture. I especially like the clouds with the silver lining. It turned out to be a beautifull and sunny day and we quickly forgot all about our difficult roadtrip to get there and had a wonderfull week at the Lago Maggiore.
