Great Travel Moment

This is actually special to me, because it's in my "own backyard". The statue is of Duke Kahanamoku- the man that made surfing a popular sport and pastime, that it is today. The beautiful ocean in the background, myriad of people and their yellow and red umbrellas, gives this picture a warm and inviting glow. As you can see with the smile on my face, I am lucky that I live in Hawaii. :-)
