Great Travel Moment

The attached photo was taken January of 2009 in Tallinn, Estonia and is symbolic of a major crossroad in my life, divorce, and for many divorce is a crossroad in life. This trip was planned two days in advance of going, the ultimate random excursion. I was in the midst of an extremely difficult divorce and it was my first week without my children (due to an agreed parenting time schedule). A friend mentioned he was going to Estonia for work, so I joined him and explored some of the most magical medieval buildings; some of which were built in the 1200's. Not only was it magical but it also provided a sense of peace that inspired the bulk of ideas for a book I am nearing completion on.
