Great Travel Moment I recently got married in Los Cabos, Mexico on 9 July 2009, after 7 days of planning while on holiday in New York. On 2 July, while hanging out in a NYC hotel lobby, I picked up a copy of Conde Nast Traveler's 2009 Gold List. In my downtime, I flicked through a couple of hotels online, and immediately fell in love with the Palmilla and Los Cabos. After calling friends and family to confirm their availability, I booked our wedding on 9 July and surprised my wife on 4 July with an invitation card to her own wedding. The photo above was taken by my best man, who is still cursing me for escaping the buck's night he had been planning! |

oh, i forgot to mention that in our rush to have a wedding, we neglected the most important aspect (honeymoon!) - which is why winning this contest would really put the icing on the cake to the start of our married life!
