Great Travel Moment In the fishing village on Tonle Sap Lake, catching something whenever, wherever, and however is the name of the game. And the age of the person fishing doesn't matter either. Whether they are 5 or 75, the people of this Cambodian lake are focused on one thing - catching fish. As we rode down one of the rivers that flows into the lake, I noticed this young boy trying to get things straighten out no matter what it took. The boats he was juggled between were being pulled upstream quite quickly. We thought for sure he was going in the drink. Somehow, he managed to make the transition and keep dry. He didn't smile afterwards, just looked at us with a sign of relief. |
