Great Travel Moment

In early 2004, my Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Every week for three months, I flew back and forth from West Palm Beach to Baltimore to sit with my Mom during her Chemo treatments. I would bring a bag full of games, photos, magazines and other entertainment activities. At the first one, we were looking through a magazine and saw a trip to China. Mom declared, "When I am healthy, we are all going to China." After a long battle with chemo followed by daily radiation treatments, my Mom was free of cancer! In 2006, our family traveled to China! This photo was taken on a climb along the Great Wall of China. Exhilarated, exhausted and excited, we posed for this incredible photo. It reminds me daily how precious life is and that anything can be accomplished. This trip was a wonderful experience and a momentous occasion. I am proud to report Mom is healthy and thriving and has become a support for other women with Breast Cancer.
