Great Travel Moment

I explored the Cenote Dzitnup after a day spent at the Chitzen Itza on the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico this past March. Growing up in New England in a hockey family, the only trips out of the US were to Canada. My Mexico trip was an amazing experience that I learned so much from. This day in particular was so memorable because I have never experienced such a natural wonder before. I grabbed my camera and waded through the water to the back side of the cave and climbed up to get a good shot. I was lucky to get it because the light was so dim. When I look at this photo I can imagine myself being back there and the overwhelming awe of it all.
