Great Travel Moment Sometimes the best part of traveling isn't the fancy hotel you stay at, the balmy weather, or the remarkable food. While these are the items you spend countless hours researching online, in magazines, and at travel agencies, it is often the unknown factors that truly make a trip unique and memorable. The people you encounter while traveling the world can go from strangers to life-long friends, seemingly in an instant. Pictured here is Charlie, by far the nicest and most generous person we met on our trip to The Royal in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. This was taken at our farewell dinner where the chefs prepared a special meal for our table, and our waiter even went as far as to offer Charlie his special bowtie as a memento. Although we may not remember every detail of our trip in ten years, we will always remember this wonderful meal shared with interesting people. |
