Great Travel Moment As part of my two and a half month solo trip through ten European countries, I stopped in Lausanne, Switzerland to visit a distant relative. After a day trip to the Nestlé chocolate factory, some gruyère cheese fondue from the tiny town of Gruyère, and a glass of wine at the top of a terraced vineyard in Montreaux, he took me to a restaurant right on Lake Geneva, overlooking the French Alps. I took this picture of some kids trying to catch fish right at the edge of the water. They looked like they were having so much fun with the tiny fish. I simply cannot believe that my little old 5.0 Mega pixel camera captured such vivid colors of the water and the mountains. Little did I know that the next day I would be climbing up those mountains. |
