Great Travel Moment

Fulfilling one of my dreams, I moved to Scotland for 8 months, leaving my family, friends and supportive and encouraging boyfriend, Adam behind. After 8-months-too-many, Adam travelled to Scotland and we explored the beautiful country together. This picture is taken in the Lammermuir Hills of the Scottish Borders. We took the road-less-travelled en-route to Edinburgh, as it was Adam's goal to pet a sheep before leaving Scotland; I knew we'd encounter lots of sheep in the hills! Adam and I ventured throughout Scotland, from the small town of Duns, over to the Isle of Skye, up to Inverness, and many places in between, smiling and laughing the whole way. At a cozy B&B in tiny Foyers, on the eastern shore of Loch Ness, Adam proposed and I returned to Canada with wonderful memories and a brand-new fiancé.
