Dream Trip 2009

Great Travel Moment

This is the last trip we took as a family. We stayed off the beaten path and experienced the culture of the local people. We purchased food from the roadside vendors which we all agreed was better than any fast food joint. We paddled, biked, swam,and sunned for 17 days all up and down the Baja Peninsula. Detached from all electronic devices the kids learned valuable lessons of nature,kindness and how to entertain themselves. We had experiences and saw sights that the common traveller misses due to schedules and time constraints. We all took turns mapping,navigating,cooking and cleaning. We read books told stories and even conversed with each other. This trip was what family is all about,Laughing,Loving and bonding as a unit. The experiences of this trip will be shared in our family for many generations to come.
