Great Travel Moment

Atop one an ancient pagoda is my father taking in the view of the many ancient temples and pagodas in Bagan, Myanmar (Burma). The country allows visitors to enter and climb the centuries-old pagodas. There are over 2000 pagodas and temples there and the view from one allows you to see just how many there are! For my father, this trip to Burma was the first time he had returned since he and my mother left the country about 60 years ago. The colors around us were so rich and earthy. It was so satisfying to share this trip with my family and to see my father so happy and appreciating for himself this long-awaited visit back to his country.
